About Us

       We are one of 16 regions organized under The Gardeners of America/Men's Garden Clubs of America.  The Central Great Lakes Gardeners include clubs in Indiana, Michigan, and Ohio.  Many clubs now have women as well as men in their membership.  The organization's official name is now The Central Great Lakes  Gardeners.  Previous to 7/29/2011 its name was The Central Great Lakes Region.

        Regional officers are elected annually. Also serving on the Region's Board are Regional Directors elected to serve on the National TGOA/MGCA Board.  There are currently three Regional Directors and two Alternate Directors in this region.

        A primary purpose is contained in this phrase from the Objectives statement in the Region's Constitution: "TO MAKE AMERICA A GARDEN CONSCIOUS NATION."
